[Review] G&G Tulips Grey Circle Lens from Pinky Paradise

Hello~

A week or two back, Pinky Paradise was having a promotion where if you purchase at least one pair of lenses, you can get "Free Global Mail Shipping". I wasn't in any hurry to get lenses, so I thought why not?

After initially ordering the G&G Tulips Brown ($23.90), I received an email stating it was out of stock, so I decided to get it in Grey instead.

What really caught my attention with these particular lenses was the design. If you've read my posts for a while, then you might have already noticed that it's hard for me to turn my back on "unique" things!

Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.8mm & 8.9mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal
What inside: One pair of lenses and one macaron lens case

Color/Design: Though I initially wanted these lenses in brown, the grey ended up being great. By no means are these lenses natural looking as you can tell from the pattern. The outer pattern looks similar to a species of tulips, hence the name >_<

Enlargement: At 14.55 mm, the lenses are quite large. It's gives a perfect "dolly" look, and sometimes my eyes remind me of a fairy when I look into the mirror. My natural eyes are super small (sorry, forgot a comparison photo >_<), so these are a huge step for me in terms of enlargement. It's not overwhelming though, so that's good.

Comfort: I've been wearing these lenses for about 4 days now, and it's still very blurry. Typically when I get new lenses that are blurry, it ends up going away after a couple of days. Because of the blurriness, it's kind of uncomfortable for me. Of course, this might be a flaw for just this pair, since I saw another review and they loved it. It's also quite drying and my eyes get tired easily if I'm wearing them for too long. I do tend to wear my lenses for 8+ hours, so I may just be pushing it to its limits.

I was doing some serious duck lips in the photo, so why not give myself a beak instead?

Final Verdict:
 (3/5)

I'm not quite sure if it's just a problem with my particular lenses, but seeing blurry 50% of the time is irritating. It's possible I just received a bad pair. So when time comes for me to purchase a new pair of lenses, I'll be looking into picking up these ones again but in brown. I'll be pretty sad and disappointed if the next pair end up the same way though. Though I'm basically in love with the pattern, I need to knock off two points just for comfort sakes.

Pinkyparadise is also having a 50% sale for their lenses that ends today (Oct. 21st). Link here.

I'm trying to get into a groove and at least have two posts scheduled every week. Please don't get annoyed and tired of me :x and thank you all to those that have been reading my posts for a while now. I didn't get to posting much until after I graduated, but I can't believe it'll almost be a year since I started my blog ^^
