I have been using the Mizon Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot, ($14.98) for the past few weeks, and after some pimples started to emerge, I thought it would be the perfect time to do a review.
This product is similar to the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion or the Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment. I have only used the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, which I have purchased more than 5 times, so I do love it! If you are not familiar with these products, they are an acne spot treatment that you apply with a Q-tip. The top is a liquid solution, while the bottom is a pink powder that you dip your Q-tip into.
You then dab the mixture onto your acne spot.
I waited until a nice big stress pimple showed up on my chin to do this review :x
I apply this as my last step in my night routine.
Sorry that the lighting isn't consistent, but life's unfair sometimes, haha.
Anyways, as you can see, after the third night (technically Day 4 of pimple), it has almost disappeared. I get blemishes very easily, but thankfully they tend to disappear quickly as well (thank you, skincare~).
My only complaint about this product is that when I first received it, the pink solution was very clumpy and it was difficult for the Q-tip to pick it up. I almost had to stab it with the Q-tip and scoop it rather than just lightly dipping it. However, maybe I just had a bad bottle?
This product is great! The only reason why I didn't give it a 5/5 is that because I do think that the Mario Badescu is stronger and dries out my acne quicker. And because the Mario Badescu is more readily available (Ulta is just a 5 minute drive), I don't think I will purchase again. However, if you suffer from big breakouts, I highly recommend this product.
